This charger is made to accept Sony batteries for Nex series cameras. As promised, it charges quickly and has an LED light that tells you when it's done. Unlike the much more expensive "Sony" model, it includes a cigarette lighter adapter and Euro plug adapter for charging in the car or in Germany. Very cool for the price.

For the cost of this it seems to be a good unit. I have only used it one time but it worked good so far. I like that it can be used in the car and that is the main resaon that I bought it. If you need one that works on 12V or a backup unit I would buy this one. I used it to charge my new battery for my new Sony Nex-5..

The Wasabi charger works well enough, can be used to charge your camera battery in your car, and has two LEDs to tell you when the battery is charging and when charging is complete. And it's smaller than the charger supplied with the Sony NEX camera. A very good value.
